Banking Client | International Women's Day Floral Workshop
We organised an International Women’s Day Floral Workshop for a corporate banking client. The event was held over two days at the ICC and the Taikoo Place office, with 90 employees taking part. Each participant used pink flowers to create their own floral tube arrangement.
Client Objectives
The client wanted to arrange a relaxed and engaging activity for employees on International Women’s Day, giving everyone a chance to slow down temporarily during their busy workday.
As the employees were based in two offices, the activity needed to be held separately at the ICC and Taikoo Place, allowing colleagues at both locations to participate and enjoy the same floral experience.
Our Solution
We divided the workshop across two days, visiting the client’s offices at the ICC and Taikoo Place and welcoming a total of 90 employees.
The featured project was a fresh flower tube arrangement, using pink flowers such as gerberas, Spray roses and delphiniums to complement the International Women’s Day theme.
The instructor first demonstrated flower preparation, colour distribution and the basic steps of flower arranging, before allowing participants to arrange the flowers according to their own preferences. The design was simple and easy to follow, so even those without floral design experience could complete their arrangements within the workshop.
Afterwards, each participant could take their flower tube back to their workstation or home to continue enjoying it.
Event Experience
During the workshop, colleagues arranged flowers while chatting and admiring one another’s creations. Although everyone used the same flowers, each finished design was unique.
The event enabled all 90 employees across the two offices to take part in the International Women’s Day celebration, while also giving colleagues an opportunity to step away from their usual work routine, create something relaxing and connect with one another.
