Banking Client | Bilingual International Women's Day Floral Workshop

We hosted a bilingual International Women’s Day Floral Workshop for a corporate banking client. The event was divided into Cantonese and English sessions, with 20 employees taking part, enabling colleagues from different language backgrounds to engage in the themed sharing and floral arrangement activity.

Client’s Objectives

The client wanted to organise an activity for employees on International Women’s Day that combined personal growth with a hands-on experience.

As team members came from different language backgrounds, the workshop needed to be divided into Cantonese and English sessions so that every participant could understand the sharing content and floral arrangement steps in the language they were most comfortable with.

The event also aimed to encourage participants to reflect on how to face change, build resilience, and continue supporting women’s development at work and in their personal lives.

Our Approach

The event began with a 20-minute themed sharing session led by the founder of Let Hope Bloom:

Blooming Through Change: Embracing Uncertainty and Empowering Growth

The session covered how to face uncertainty, find direction again through challenges, and gradually build confidence in work and life.

After the themed sharing, participants created floral arrangements using seasonal flowers. The instructor demonstrated flower preparation, basic design techniques, and the arrangement process in both Cantonese and English, ensuring that participants in both sessions could clearly follow each step.

Each participant could arrange the flowers according to their preferences and complete a creation of their own.

Event Experience

The bilingual format enabled employees from different backgrounds to engage naturally in the activity without missing any of the sharing content or arrangement details due to language barriers.

From the themed sharing to the floral arrangement activity, participants learned new skills while connecting with their colleagues. At the end of the event, everyone could take home a floral arrangement they had created themselves as a memento of International Women’s Day.
