Foodpanda | International Women's Day Floral Workshop
We organized an International Women’s Day Floral Workshop for Foodpanda, combining a themed talk with floral design. A total of 40 employees participated. The event was divided into Cantonese and English sessions so colleagues from different language backgrounds could fully engage in the discussion and creative process.
Client Objectives
Foodpanda wanted to organize a meaningful and interactive activity for employees on International Women’s Day.
As team members come from different language backgrounds, the event needed to offer separate Cantonese and English sessions so every participant could understand the talk and floral design instructions in the language they were most familiar with.
In addition to celebrating the occasion, the client also hoped to encourage employees to reflect on how to navigate change, build resilience, and support women in continuing to grow professionally and personally.
Our Approach
The event began with a 20-minute themed talk by the founder of Let Hope Bloom:
Blooming Through Change: Embracing Uncertainty and Empowering Growth
The talk covered how to navigate changes at work and in life, find direction again through challenges, and gradually build confidence as women.
After the talk, participants created floral designs using seasonal flowers. The instructor introduced the flowers, demonstrated basic preparation techniques, and explained the design steps in both Cantonese and English.
Each participant could arrange the flowers according to their personal preferences and create a one-of-a-kind design.
The Experience
The bilingual arrangement enabled all 40 employees to clearly understand the event content and naturally engage in the themed talk and floral design activity.
Throughout the workshop, colleagues could chat with one another and admire each other’s designs while creating their own arrangements. Once completed, each participant could take their floral design home or display it in the office as a keepsake of International Women’s Day.
