HKR International | Christmas Wreath Workshop
We held a Christmas Wreath Workshop at Discovery Bay Community Center, with 40 families taking part. Parents and children used fresh pine branches, eucalyptus leaves, ribbons, and festive decorations to create a Christmas wreath by hand.
Client Goals
Discovery Bay Community Center wanted to organize a family-friendly festive activity for Discovery Bay residents during the Christmas season.
The workshop needed to engage participants of different ages and encourage family members to work together to complete their creations. It also provided residents with an opportunity to socialize, get to know their neighbors, and enjoy the Christmas atmosphere.
Our Solution
We designed a Christmas wreath workshop for 40 families and prepared fresh pine branches, eucalyptus leaves, ribbons, and a variety of festive decorations.
The workshop began with the instructor introducing the basic structure and materials of a wreath, followed by a demonstration of how to secure the pine branches and eucalyptus leaves to the wreath and how to add ribbons and decorations.
The crafting process was suitable for families to participate in together. Children could help choose and arrange the decorations, while parents handled steps such as securing the materials, allowing everyone to complete the Christmas wreath together.
Event Experience
During the workshop, family members discussed color combinations, chose decorations, and completed their wreaths together. They could also interact with other participating families and admire one another’s creations.
After finishing, each family could take home the wreath they had made by hand as a Christmas decoration. The activity allowed residents to enjoy festive creativity together and provided the Discovery Bay community with a relaxed family gathering.
