Octopus | Chinese New Year Floral Workshop

We organized a Chinese New Year Floral Workshop for Octopus, with 50 employees taking part. Using festive flowers such as peony chrysanthemums and fireworks chrysanthemums, everyone created their own Lunar New Year floral arrangement and enjoyed the festive atmosphere together during the workday.

Client's Goals

Octopus wanted to arrange a relaxed and interactive festive activity for its employees during the Lunar New Year period.

In addition to giving colleagues the opportunity to take part in a floral creation activity together, the client hoped that each employee could complete an arrangement and take it home as the company’s New Year gift and blessing.

Our Solution

We designed a Chinese New Year Floral Workshop for 50 employees, using vibrant flowers with a strong festive feel, such as peony chrysanthemums and fireworks chrysanthemums.

The workshop began with the instructor introducing the flowers and demonstrating the basic preparation techniques and flower-arranging steps. Participants then arranged the flowers’ height, direction, and layers according to their own preferences.

The design was simple and easy to follow, so even participants without floral experience could complete their arrangements step by step by following the demonstration. Participants could also add their own design ideas to the basic structure, making each arrangement slightly different.

Workshop Experience

During the workshop, employees created their Chinese New Year floral arrangements while chatting and admiring one another’s work, bringing a more relaxed festive atmosphere to the everyday workplace.

After completing their arrangements, each participant could take their work home to display and continue enjoying the flowers, while also bringing the company’s New Year blessings home with them.
