Withers | Chinese New Year Floral Workshop

We held a Chinese New Year Floral Workshop for Withers, with 35 employees participating. Using festive flowers such as peony chrysanthemums and fireworks chrysanthemums, everyone created a Lunar New Year floral arrangement by hand and enjoyed the festive atmosphere together during a busy work period.

Client Objectives

Withers wanted to arrange a relaxed and interactive festive activity for its employees during the Lunar New Year period.

The client hoped colleagues could put work aside temporarily and take part in a floral design activity together. Each employee could also take their completed arrangement home as the company’s New Year blessing for everyone.

Our Solution

We designed a Floral Workshop for 35 employees, using flowers with festive New Year colours, such as peony chrysanthemums and fireworks chrysanthemums.

The workshop began with the instructor introducing the different flowers and demonstrating basic preparation techniques, arrangement structure and floral design steps. Participants then created their own Lunar New Year floral arrangements by hand.

The arrangement design was simple and easy to follow, making it suitable for participants with no floral design experience. Everyone could follow the demonstration to build the basic structure, then adjust the position, height and direction of the flowers according to their preferences.

Workshop Experience

During the workshop, employees arranged flowers while chatting and admiring one another’s creations, bringing a more relaxed and festive atmosphere to the office ahead of the Lunar New Year.

After completing their arrangements, each participant could take theirs home to display, bringing the Lunar New Year flowers and the company’s blessings into their home.
