Meet your floral instructor
Mariusz Ćwik
Mariusz Ćwik is a floral designer and floral educator based in the UK, specialising in advanced floral design, large-scale floral installations, and sculptural floral compositions.
Mariusz taught floral design for approximately six years at London’s renowned McQueens Flower School, where he also served as a Senior Tutor, teaching floral design students from around the world.
Beyond floral techniques, his teaching focuses on the design thinking behind each creation—including proportion, structure, space, movement, and how to turn a creative concept into a practical floral work.
His floral experience extends well beyond the classroom.
Mariusz’s professional experience includes floral projects associated with London Fashion Week and the Embassy of Japan in the UK, giving him exposure to a range of international floral and design settings.
In 2025, he also contributed to a floral display at the UK’s renowned RHS Chelsea Flower Show, where he received a Silver Medal.
Mariusz also studies Sogetsu Ikebana. As a result, while his work is influenced by European floral design, it places particular emphasis on line, negative space, spatial composition, movement, and sculptural quality.
