“A Grade” Keio Cherry Blossom from Yamagata Prefecture, Japan

Size: approximately 120-125 cm tall (suitable for floor placement or larger spaces)

The flowering period is about 7-14 days, and the leaf viewing period is about 10-15 days.
The entire viewing period is about 3 weeks.

• Trim about 3-5 cm off the end of the flower stem, then make one or two cross cuts at the cut end before immersing it in clean water.
• Place the cherry blossoms in a vase half-filled with water and change the water every 2 to 3 days.
• Avoid placing cherry blossoms in overly dry locations; do not let warm air blow directly on the cherry blossoms from heaters or air conditioners.
• The optimal room temperature for placing cherry blossoms is 15 to 22 degrees Celsius. The flowering period lasts about one week. Placing them in a cool, shaded area after blooming helps extend the flowering period.
• To prevent drying, spray water on the petals 2 to 3 times daily to keep the cherry blossoms moist.
• If the cherry blossoms are placed in a warmer room before blooming, the pink color of the petals will become lighter.
