Sailpoint | Autumn Wreath Workshop
Client Objectives
In September 2026, SailPoint brought together 16 team members from Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia and Australia for a regional team meeting in Hong Kong.
After the meeting, the team wanted a relaxed team-building activity that would give colleagues who normally work across different locations an opportunity to connect face-to-face in a different setting.
There was also a practical consideration. As many participants would be flying home after their visit to Hong Kong, the floral creation needed to be suitable for beginners, easy to take home and designed with international travel in mind.
Our Solution
We recommended an Autumn Wreath Workshop using a combination of foliage, dried flowers and preserved floral materials.
Rather than creating an arrangement centred around fresh flowers, the wreath was designed as a long-lasting piece that participants could continue to enjoy for a year or more.
The choice of materials also took into consideration that participants would be travelling to different destinations after the workshop, where fresh flowers and botanical materials may be subject to different entry requirements.
The Workshop Experience
The two-hour corporate floral workshop was hosted at the Let Hope Bloom Studio in Kwun Tong, Hong Kong, with instructions provided in both English and Cantonese for the regional team.
No previous floristry experience was required.
We guided the group through the materials, wreath-making techniques and basic principles of composition before everyone started creating their own design.
Although participants worked with a similar selection of materials, each person could decide on the placement, balance and overall look of their wreath. The result was 16 individual pieces, each reflecting a different personal style.
The hands-on format also gave the team space to talk and interact naturally while creating. After a regional meeting, it offered a change of pace from presentations and discussions, while still giving colleagues an opportunity to spend meaningful time together in person.
The Outcome
The SailPoint Autumn Wreath Workshop brought together 16 colleagues from across the region for a hands-on team-building experience in Hong Kong.
By the end of the session, every participant had completed their own long-lasting autumn wreath to take home.
For us, planning a corporate floral workshop is not simply about choosing something beautiful to make. The right workshop should also consider the purpose of the event, who is attending, where they are travelling from, the venue and what will happen to the finished piece afterwards.
For SailPoint, these considerations led us to a workshop that was creative, beginner-friendly and practical for a regional team gathering.
